NiceCritic.com is a way of communicating difficult thoughts comfortably. This free service gives users the ability to say something to someone that has been on their minds in a safe, non-embarrassing environment. They simply visit the site, pick a statement from a wide variety of pre-written “thought bubbles,” and send that message to a friend, acquaintance, or relative’s email address. This site is meant to be a constructive critic on a wide variety of potentially-uncomfortable issues. The person being “NiceCritic’d” then has the opportunity to reflect on the message received, choosing to take the suggestion or dismiss it. Please feel free to use this site in the constructive manner for which it is intended. This site is meant to be polite, constructive, and fun. This site is NOT meant to make anyone feel uncomfortable.

Things You Need to Know Before Sending a Message

1. To safeguard against harassment and/or undue inconvenience to any recipient, the same message cannot be sent to the same email address for up to 96 hours of sending that particular message. This means that no matter how many people try to send the same message to the same email address within that period of time, only the first one is sent.

2. Any recipient can decide to unsubsribe at any time and will not receive another message.

3. If the site is used contrary to the NiceCritic.com Mission Statement, we will block further messages from being sent to that recipient. This site is meant to be a positive experience.   

4. Due to the tremendous world-wide response this site has received, and taking into consideration your comments and suggestions, we've begun to vary and adjust the messages you can choose. Thanks for all your input! We'll be changing some messages on a weekly basis to keep offering a variety of useful thoughts.

5. But remember, your first choice should always be to tell someone something face-to-face. This site can be used as a resource on how to express a difficult or uncomfortable thought to someone.
